A farmer from Montbéliard who arrived with the original settlers on the BETTY which sailed from Rotterdam on May 16, 1752 and arrived in Halifax on July 24,1752, after a voyage of 68 days.
With him were his wife, and 3 children.

His debt on arriving in Canada:

They were victualled (list #6) Aug-Oct 1752 and Feb-Apr 1753 (list #849-53) in Halifax.
They were also victualled in Lunenburg February 23 - May 16, 1756 (list #403-07) with Pierre receiving half ration.

Nicholas drew a 30 acre farm lot North West Range b14 and in the second draw of 300 acres lots he lot-Third Division D5 November 7, 1763.
