Raymond and Marion lived in Spryfield Halifax Co. for a number of years before moving to Aalders Rd, Canaan Mt, Kings County NS. After living in Canaan for a while Marion and Raymond parted ways. Marion moved to New Minas NS.

Raymond moved to North River NS. Where he lived in a farm house with his children that where at home. He later traded the farm house for a trailer that belonged to his son Frederick Thomas and then he moved the trailer back to Aalders Rd. Canaan Mt. Where he resided with two of his sons, until he passed.
