ReMarried: to George Dooley 1927

They had one Child

Notes: Lorraine (Pye) Ernst.
Pearl and her husband Reuben daurie lived a fairly comfortably as he fished during the summer and was a cooper by trade - making barrels for saurkraut, apples, and salt cod in the winter.

When the birth and death dates of Pearl and Reuben's children were found, it was tragic to see that the deaths of some of their children just preceded the birth of others. Oren died May 7, 1911 and Mildred was born May 11, 1911; Louis died March 16, 1920 and Lloyd was born April 11, 1920.

One memory I have of my grandmother was that each Easter she would dye hardboiled eggs using onion skins for me. The eggswould be a lovely golden colour. Her German background showed when she spoke wordssuch as vinegar and vegetables whichcame out as winegar and wegetables.

After her death Pearl's body was cremated and the ashes buried at her daughtre Fay's home in Buffalo, Ny, US.
